Becca and Matthew were my first of many engagement sessions with my awesome 2020 couples. We went out to the Botanical Gardens in Green Bay for their session and were surprised that, besides a wedding rehearsal, we had the entire park to ourselves. It was definitely a little bit of magic. After watching the forecast like a hawk and making sure it wasn't going to rain, the sun decided to make an appearance for the last half of our session!
I tell all my couples who might be a little camera shy, "Just think of your engagement session like a date, and I'm just third-wheeling with my camera." You two get to snuggle and laugh and be close to one another and really take some time to soak up this fleeting season in your life. It also helps to get you comfortable in front of the camera before your big day! Wedding planning can be stressful, but I always hope that my couples come away from their engagement sessions feeling happy and joyful and super excited to marry their person. Becca and Matt, I can't wait for your wedding in August!
Is there anything sweeter than golden light, an empty garden, and a couple in love? I don't think so.
