Vendor Spotlight: Old Coon Creek Inn, Beloit, WI | Wisconsin Wedding Venue
Old Coon Creek Inn in Beloit, WI is really a hidden gem. Tucked away in the twists of turns of Beloit's back roads, near Beckman Mill Park, you'll find this wedding venue that's full of rustic charm for the wedding of your dreams.
Jill and Patrick Gaffney run the Old Coon Creek Inn, which doubles as a wedding venue during Spring, Summer and Fall, as well as a crafting, scrapbooking, and girl's getaway space in the off season during the winter months.
The property has been in the Gaffney family since 1976 and includes the farmhouse, a converted horse barn and covered pavilion, fire pit, and an outdoor ceremony site overlooking its namesake, Racoon Creek.
My best friend from high school got married at Old Coon Creek Inn in 2018. As her maid of honor, I fell in love with the venue and broke out my camera and captured some fun reception photos, but inside? I was dying to photograph a wedding here for real.
In 2020, Kristen and Sean made my dreams come true when they contacted me to be their wedding photographer. During their big day, Jill came up to me and said, "You look really familiar... Have you been here before?"
I explained the story to her and she laughed, told me to give my best to Noelle and Josh, and agreed that it was a really fun coincidence.
