Abby came to slay her senior picture game! But before I show you how AWESOME-FREAKING-TASTIC her session was, first I have to tell y'all a story...
If you've been around a while, you might know Abby. She's become a pretty familiar face on the blog! Once upon a time, I was a shift leader at Hardee's and my boss tasked me with doing a new hire's orientation. All they told me was that she was a freshman in high school, this was her first job, and don't scare her too much. When I sat across that table from an awkward, nervous freshman going over paperwork and proper protocols, I never knew how much meeting her was going to change my life.
Abby and I worked together for two years until I left my fast food job to pursue photography full time. She is also an aspiring photographer just like I was in high school. I stalked all of her pictures when we became Facebook friends and said, "Hey, do you wanna go take pictures sometime?" And the rest, as they say, is history. Over the last year or so, I've let Abby use my DSLR and have been teaching her the ins and outs of how to use it, as well as some of the more technical aspects of photography. That made taking her senior pictures that much more emotional for me.
Abby said, "Hey Anna, can we do my senior pictures out at my family's farm?"
I think I set a record for how fast I said, "YES!"
I fawned over all the chickens, horses, and baby goats. Abby found her light and I channeled my inner Jonathan Van Ness and said "YAAASSSS girl!" about a million times (in case you wanted to know what it's like to have a session with me, haha!). Keep on scrolling to see more from her senior session!
